Location

The historic town of Akaroa is located on Banks Peninsula on the east coast of the South Island, New Zealand, for over 100 years known as the ‘Riviera of the South’.

The drive from Christchurch to Akaroa (80km) is very picturesque and takes approx 1hr 15 minutes.

We recommend that visitors take advantage of the photo opportunity at the Hilltop’ with stunning views across the harbour to Akaroa.
